Our Charity Partners
SACC have a strong history of partnering with charities over the years and 2022 is no different. We are proud to be supporting the Swanwick Lions and Runs4Research this season. See below for all the details. Click the logo to check out their website.
Swanwick Lions
Swanwick Lions Club was formed in 1976 and raises funds for vitally important community projects and disaster charities around the world.
The charity has a number of links to SACC with a small army of our members volunteering on a regular basis for them.
We are proud to be supporting them throughout 2022 across a number of events and through our ‘Duck Award.’
Runs4Research
Formed in 2021, Runs4Research raises money for Alzheimers Research UK.
Runs4Research asks club cricketers to commit a donation at the end of the season based on the number of runs and wickets scored/taken (5p per run, 50p per wicket).

SACC Kit Exchange
The Colts Kit Exchange is in essence a kit swap drive aimed at those who perhaps cannot afford new kit as they grow through the age groups. Although aimed like this, we do not turn away any parent/colt who wants to have a look at what we can offer. Cricket is an expensive sport. This is especially true when making the step up from kids sized equipment to adults. So if we can ease the burden on the cost of playing this wonderful game then we must do what we can.
The way it works is simple. You donate to us your too small equipment and we envisage to swap it for a bigger size. If you have nothing to donate all we ask for is a small donation (no more than £5) to cover the cost of the small items we purchase like grips, face tapes, glue, toe guards etc...
This whole initiative is not for profit and the club sees no revenue from this whatsoever.

#HerGameToo
#HerGameToo & Sarisbury Athletic Cricket Club have joined forces to raise awareness of sexism in cricket, campaign for inclusivity and promoting the grassroots game for women and girls.

SACC truly believes in growing the women's game and will support #HerGameToo wherever we can.

Discrimination of any kind in sport is simply not acceptable and SACC will support #HerGameToo to continue to champion female participation until girls and women are accepted and respected equally in sport.
